Measuring Your watch strap

A perfectly fitted strap improves the comfort, aesthetics, and everyday wear of your watch.

To determine the ideal size, three pieces of information are needed:

• The lug width of your watch and the buckle width.
• Your wrist circumference
• The lug-to-lug distance

The lug width corresponds to the space where the strap is inserted.

Using a ruler or, ideally, a caliper, measure the inside distance between the two lugs.

This value is expressed in millimeters.

Examples:

• 18 mm
• 19 mm
• 20 mm
• 21 mm
• 22 mm

This measurement determines the strap width to order.

The buckle width corresponds to the width of the strap at its end, where the buckle is attached.

This measurement is particularly important if you want to:

• reuse your original buckle;
• order a new buckle;
• install a deployant clasp;
• maintain the proportions of the original strap.

Remove the buckle if necessary, then measure the inside width between the two sides of the buckle in millimeters.

You can also measure the width of the strap directly where it enters the buckle.

Preferably use a caliper. A ruler graduated in millimeters can also be suitable.

The measurement should be taken from the inside of the buckle, not its outer width.

Example:

A 20/16 mm strap has:

• a width of 20 mm between the lugs of the watch;
• a width of 16 mm at the buckle.

The first number therefore always corresponds to the watch side, and the second to the buckle side.

For a pin buckle, measure the inside width of the buckle where the strap is attached.

For a deployant buckle, measure the width of the strap at its connection point to the buckle. Depending on the model, the two strap ends may have specific shapes, thicknesses, or fastening systems.

Some buckles also require checking:

• the diameter of the pin;
• the shape of the cut-out for the pin;
• the thickness of the strap;
• the presence of a spring bar, screw, or proprietary system.

If in doubt, send us a photo of the buckle, the detached strap, and your watch's reference number. We will check compatibility before you place your order.

Measure your wrist where you usually wear your watch.

The tape measure should be snug but not tight.

If you do not have a tape measure, use a strip of paper and then measure it with a ruler.

The length of a watch strap is determined by its two components:

• the long piece (hole side);
• the short piece (buckle side).

These two lengths are always expressed in millimeters.

For example, a 120 / 80 mm strap consists of:

• a 120 mm long piece;
• an 80 mm short piece.

Important: the buckle is never included in this measurement.

We recommend measuring your current bracelet if:

• it fits you perfectly;
• you want to order a replacement bracelet;
• you wish to maintain the same wrist comfort.

Detach the strap from your watch if possible.

Using a ruler, separately measure:

• the long part, from one end to the opposite end (excluding the buckle);
• the short part, from the end of the leather to where the buckle is attached (excluding the buckle itself).

Take both measurements in millimeters.

If your strap is fitted with a deployant clasp, the length may differ from a pin buckle strap.

When ordering, please let us know if you wish to:

• keep your original deployant clasp;
• install a new deployant clasp;
• use a pin buckle.

We will adjust the strap length accordingly to ensure optimal comfort.

• 115 / 75 mm
• 120 / 80 mm
• 125 / 85 mm
• 130 / 90 mm
