The Sinn 1746 Heimat is a dress watch that pays tribute to Frankfurt am Main, Sinn's historic home city.
Its most remarkable feature is its rhodium-plated relief dial, whose diamond pattern is inspired by Frankfurt's traditional cider glasses, the Gerippte. The electroforming process gives the dial genuine depth, with surfaces ranging from polished to brushed.
The 42 mm polished stainless steel case and the very clean design give the watch an elegant aesthetic, yet one less conventional than a classic dress watch.

What is a quick-release spring bar, and how does it work?
The spring bar is the small spring-loaded pin that connects the strap to the watch lugs. On a quick-release spring bar, a small lever protrudes from beneath the strap. Pull it with your fingernail and the pin retracts, releasing the strap.
Change your strap in four steps
- Pull the quick-release lever to release one side of the strap, then the other.
- Insert one end of the new strap’s spring bar into the lug hole.
- Pull the lever, align the other end with the second hole, then let go.
- Gently tug on the strap: you’ll hear a slight click, and it’s in place.
