The Sinn 144 St DIAPAL is an iconic sports chronograph from the German house. It combines a design inspired by motoring and aviation with a set of technologies intended to improve its reliability.
Its 41 mm bead-blasted stainless steel case houses an anthracite dial with integrated tachymeter and pulsometer scales. It also offers a second time zone on a 12-hour scale.
The DIAPAL version stands out for its lubrication-free escapement, while Ar-Dehumidifying technology keeps the inside of the watch very dry to limit movement aging and the risk of condensation.

What is a quick-release spring bar, and how does it work?
The spring bar is the small spring-loaded pin that connects the strap to the watch lugs. On a quick-release spring bar, a small lever protrudes from beneath the strap. Pull it with your fingernail and the pin retracts, releasing the strap.
Change your strap in four steps
- Pull the quick-release lever to release one side of the strap, then the other.
- Insert one end of the new strap’s spring bar into the lug hole.
- Pull the lever, align the other end with the second hole, then let go.
- Gently tug on the strap: you’ll hear a slight click, and it’s in place.
A strap for every occasion
Calfskin for the weekend, cordovan for work, alligator for special occasions: your watch can change its look as quickly as you do. One watch, several straps, and just as many personalities.
Select the quick-release spring bar option on the product page for each strap when adding it to your cart.
