The Onirique line explores here a green nubuck alligator with deep shades, highlighted by sea-green stitching and a hazelnut grained calfskin lining. The velvety feel of the nubuck softens the natural relief of the scales, while the stitching adds a luminous and unexpected touch. Handcrafted in our Parisian workshop, this strap plays on the balance between botanical depth, the softness of the material, and a subtle contrast of colors.
Designed for the Cartier Tank, it complements the Tank Must, Tank Louis Cartier, Tank Solo, or Tank Américaine with the sobriety required by this 1917 classic.

What is a quick-release spring bar, and how does it work?
The spring bar is the small spring-loaded pin that connects the strap to the watch lugs. On a quick-release spring bar, a small lever protrudes from beneath the strap. Pull it with your fingernail and the pin retracts, releasing the strap.
Change your strap in four steps
- Pull the quick-release lever to release one side of the strap, then the other.
- Insert one end of the new strap’s spring bar into the lug hole.
- Pull the lever, align the other end with the second hole, then let go.
- Gently tug on the strap: you’ll hear a slight click, and it’s in place.
