Ombre strap for Omega – Dark Night black alligator, grey stitching

Our "Dark Night" alligator strap, in a special edition: a deep matte black where only a few scales, left glossy, catch the light with the slightest movement of the wrist.

The grey stitching remains discreet. The edges, finished with a raw saddle-stitched look, are hand-dyed in grey, layer after layer, until the perfect shade is achieved. Lined with grey grained calfskin, it is cut and sewn in our Parisian workshop.

Designed for the Seamaster Diver 300M with a grained black dial, it also complements all Omega watches with standard lugs.

It comes with an Omega-style steel deployment clasp.

What is a quick-release spring bar, and how does it work?

The spring bar is the small spring-loaded pin that connects the strap to the watch lugs. On a quick-release spring bar, a small lever protrudes from beneath the strap. Pull it with your fingernail and the pin retracts, releasing the strap.

Change your strap in four steps

Pull the quick-release lever to release one side of the strap, then the other.
Insert one end of the new strap’s spring bar into the lug hole.
Pull the lever, align the other end with the second hole, then let go.
Gently tug on the strap: you’ll hear a slight click, and it’s in place.
