Its construction faithfully reproduces the geometry of the original strap to offer a perfect fit, excellent durability, and optimal comfort. What is a quick-release spring bar, and how does it work?
The spring bar is the small spring-loaded pin that connects the strap to the watch lugs. On a quick-release spring bar, a small lever protrudes from beneath the strap. Pull it with your fingernail and the pin retracts, releasing the strap.
Change your strap in four steps
- Pull the quick-release lever to release one side of the strap, then the other.
- Insert one end of the new strap’s spring bar into the lug hole.
- Pull the lever, align the other end with the second hole, then let go.
- Gently tug on the strap: you’ll hear a slight click, and it’s in place.
